Anticipation

anticipation (n.) – the action of anticipating something; expectation or prediction

For the next four months, 4 different groups of people are coming to Cambodia – one missions team from our home church, friends from our financial organization and family members from both sides. As we make sure everything is set up for each group, we are anticipating our time together!

Please pray for safe travels and health for these 4 groups as they travel to Cambodia and while they are here. Pray our time together to be encouraging and God-honoring.

Waiting in anticipation…

  1. Ashley,

In my world, anticipation is a double-edged sword, so to speak. First, it is a wonderful thing to have something great to look forward to, to imagine its arrival, etc. On the other hand, it’s also another word for waiting – one of the hardest things I do if I’m waiting for something good to happen. I will pray as you’ve requested.

I didn’t know both sets of parents were going this year. Are they all coming for Christmas? I’ve never heard how Mike is doing with his prostate cancer treatments.

I will tell you that our sister-in-law, Melanie, Dennis’ brother Mike’s wife, has just been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Not good at all. Right now she’s awaiting a port to be installed so she can receive chemotherapy in the hospital. She’s on oxygen because of the difficulty breathing. Please pray for her. To my knowledge, she doesn’t know Jesus as her saviour, which is the primary concern in my opinion.

    Love you, little girl.
