Nine years ago today Ashley and I got married back in Texas.  One year ago today, we were out celebrating our anniversary.  Today, I am writing this at my kitchen table in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.  If you had asked me nine years ago or even one year ago if I had this planned or even considered it and the answer would be no.  Yet here we are.  Our pastor at the church here in Cambodia said something a few weeks back that continues to stick with me.  He said (and I probably butchered the actual quote) “You are being equipped right now for a work that God will do later on.” Continue reading →
